Federal and State Compensatory Programs

Federal Programs in Texas Education provide financial assistance and resources to schools to ensure that every student, regardless of their background, has access to a high-quality education. These programs are designed to support students who face additional challenges, such as those from low-income families, English language learners, or those with disabilities.

In Alvin ISD, we participate in a variety of federal programs that aim to enhance educational opportunities, promote academic achievement, and reduce achievement gaps. These programs include Title I, Title II, Title III, Title IV, and others, all of which are federally funded to support diverse student needs.

Through these programs, we focus on improving educational quality, fostering a positive and inclusive school environment, and offering additional support to help all students succeed.

For more information about the specific federal programs available in Alvin ISD, please feel free to contact our Federal Programs Department.
