Welcome to Alvin Elementary!
My name is Lori Gonzalez, and I feel blessed to be the principal of our amazing campus! I have 25+ years of experience in education. I have taught grades ranging from 1st - 5th, and have experience in a variety of special programs. I started my career in Alvin as a teacher and as an assistant principal. After 19 years with Alvin, I was offered a principal position in a neighboring district where I served as an elementary principal for nine years. Although I loved my job there, I have been so happy back at home! Fun fact about me, I attended Alvin Elementary as a sixth grader! Of course, that was a long, long time ago! Nonetheless, I am so proud to lead this amazing campus.
Please know that I will do my job with pride, integrity and excellence. I will provide quality service, dependability and fairness. All of the decisions made at our campus will be based on what is best for our kids. We will continue to provide an outstanding educational experience for you and your family. Our dedicated staff is committed to the success of all Alvin Elementary students, and we are excited to have you as an important part of our Eagles team and school family.
