Classroom Guidance
All students at Alvin Elementary will be learning critical life and social skills with their classmates. Skills identified within the Texas Comprehensive, Developmental Guidance and Counseling Curriculum as well as the Character Counts and Second Step programs will be introduced and practiced over the course of your child's time at Alvin Elementary (Pre-K - 5th).These skills are essential not only for those wanting to get along with peers and teachers in a classroom setting but also for everyone who participates in sports or extracurricular activities, hobbies, and groups, and eventually for all who enter the workforce or want to help successfully manage a family household.
