TSI Testing Information

TSIA (Texas Success Initiative Assessment)
The TSI assessment is a computer-based test measuring reading, sentence, essay writing, and mathematics skills. Any student attempting to enroll in college-level coursework at a community college who is not exempt from the testing requirements should take the TSI. Also, those students who plan on enrolling in our dual-credit program should take this test.
Want to know more about TSI (exemptions, what's on the test)? Check out this informative link! Here's a brochure too!
Still have questions about whether TSI is for you? Reach out to our ACC Dual Enrollment Advisor, Ms. Silvas via email
TSI testing dates at SCHS will be displayed on the information screens in the cafeteria area. Students can also come to the Counseling Suite for more information.
