Librarian

I have been the librarian at AJH for 9 years. I was the librarian at Walt Disney Elementary for 8 years prior. Before becoming a librarian I was a classroom teacher for 10 years. I have taught all subjects, but mostly Language Arts. I received my Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Baylor University (Sic 'em, Bears!) I received my Master of Library Science degree from Texas Woman's University. I have a Principal Certification from Lamar University. I really love learning!

I have a son (Cody) an Army Veteran and a daughter (Ashley) who just graduated from Texas Tech. 

I love working at Alvin Junior High and sharing my love of books and reading!
